Parc du Champ de Mars – Eiffel Tower
While researching the location of the wedding, we found you can enjoy two hours of free internet access in most public parks and gardens (this will be helpful in staying in communication with one another but also in staying connected via social media):
Free WIFI (in French, pronounced “wee-fee”)
- Find a park with a “zone wifi” sign by the gate.
- Select the “Orange” wifi network.
- Open your Internet and Click in “selectionner your pass”.
- Enter your first and last name and email
- Hit enter.
Note: switch of your data roaming function to avoid charges.
On an iPhone: Settings – General – Network – Slide the Data roaming or “Cellular Data” to off position.
I believe we have to be about 200 feet from the Eiffel Tower in order to utilize the Wi-Fi so we’ll do our best to choose a location that works for everyone.
Lastly, because it is a large park, we can’t tell you the exact location that we will say “I do” so we are planning to make an excursion to the Champ de Mars with everyone the day before to scope out the possibilities. While we are there, we will also ride the elevators to the top of the Eiffel Tower! To save 2 hours of waiting, we have already purchased tickets for our group for March 13th at 11:30AM. If you can’t make it on Friday, we plan to also have a detailed map on our website showing you the exact place so you can just meet us on the day-of at 10:00AM!
