Engagement Photos
We had a great time running around Union Station taking photos with Rex, Destiny, and John. This was our first professional photo shoot, and I had no idea how difficult looking natural could be! My day started with getting to Sara Gasparotto’s house at 6am to get my hair and makeup done. I couldn’t be happier with how the look turned out. She did such an amazing job! Rich on the other hand was fortunate to have one of his dearest friends, Diana Schmidtke, give him one of her famous haircuts days in advance.
We were a little disappointed that some of the station was under construction, but we found plenty of great spots to get photos. Many of the places we thought would be great turned out to be a bust and places that we never expected produced amazing shots!
Thanks to Sara’s beautiful hair and makeup, Diana’s precise haircut for Rich, Rex’s eye for design, Destiny’s skilled use of the light deflector, and John’s assistance with composition we ended up with a lot of fantastic pictures.
To properly promote our friends for their skill and talent, we want to share with you their websites so if you’re in search of a photographer, please visit Rex at www.rexyuphotography.com to view his portfolio; or for a hair stylist/make-up artist, go to www.saragasparotto.com to find out more about Sara and see other examples of her work.
