It was a difficult journey lugging suitcases today via train then vaporetto (water bus) to Venice but we made it safely! Albeit very hungry so our first stop was to a bàcari for cicchetti (Venetian small snacks usually served on bread or with toothpicks) and prosecco at All’Arco and though it was crowded, we thoroughly enjoyed the tasty finger foods and friendly atmosphere.
Bàcari are usually filled with Venetian locals where you stand outside or at their counters to eat the tapas-like plates and enjoy a Spritz!
These Cichetti are of octopus, sardines, anchovy, mortadella, ham, and cheese…yum!
